Dr. DevaneyDr. Kathleen Devaney graduated from Tufts University and the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She did her pediatric residency at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). She is a board-certified pediatrician and has been at Andover Pediatrics since 1991. Dr. Devaney has served as Chief of Pediatrics at Lawrence General Hospital and continues to serve on the Pediatric Quality Improvement Committee there. She also serves on the obesity task force of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Mass Medical Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics and was re-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2005. Dr. Devaney enjoys all aspects of pediatrics but has a special interest in obesity and adolescent issues. In her spare time, she enjoys attending performances at the Metropolitan Opera, sailing with her husband, Bob, and attends a reading club. She has two grown children and one grandchild.
