Fluoride

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that children drink fluoridated tap water to prevent tooth decay. Additionally, the American Dental Association states it remains committed to fluoridation of public water supplies as the single most effective public health measure to prevent tooth decay. If you reside in a city or town that does not add fluoride to the water or if you have well water than your child should have fluoride supplementation which can be provided through your dentist or pediatrician.
