Flu Vaccine
Single dose injectable vaccine (the shot) is available for all patients who are older than 6 months of age. FluMist (the nasal spray) is available for children older than 2 years of age. Children who have asthma other chronic health condition can not get the FluMist but can get the injectable vaccine. Your pediatrician can advise you about these issues. If you are an established patient of Andover Pediatrics, please contact our office to sign up for a flu clinic or make an appointment to have your child vaccinated. We do not administer flu vaccines to any child with an egg allergy.
Our mission is to join the parents of the children in our practice to provide the best care possible for each child. We strongly believe in the power of vaccines to save lives and because of successful vaccination programs the life threatening, permanently disabling infections of the recent past are not frequently seen.
